Teaching child rights through music, dance and creative media
A Talk by Lawrence Kizito (Media and Communications Officer, CRANE (Children at Risk Action network) Kampala)
About this Talk
This video shows how the CRANE network (Kampala) uses Hope Studio and Safe Clubs to help children learn about their rights, how to keep safe and equip them with skills to create music, dance and creative media messages to advocate for child rights.
Children who are involved in safe clubs are encouraged to create media pieces. Lawrence Kizito works directly with the children by training them in creative media skills, such as basic camera skills, editing, drawing, storyboarding of dramas and other creative fields.
After the presentation, join this speaker at the live Q&A sessions that follow shortly after.
