Emma is the Child Rights Connect focal point for Child Participation and Programme Officer for the Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America regions.Emma is a dedicated children’s rights advocate and has been working for children’s rights networks since 2012. Whilst completing an MSc in Policy Studies at the University of Edinburgh with a focus on childhood studies and children’s rights, Emma began to work with Together (Scottish Alliance for Children’s Rights). Since then, she has devoted her time to progressing a child rights-based approach through strong non-government networks at various levels, and has also worked at Eurochild; a regional network based in Brussels. Emma is convinced that in order to build rights-respecting societies, we must start with children! Emma joined the team in 2017.
